Prepare the I/O Pins File

• To configure the Excel file for PSS/E input files, refer to I/O Pins for PSS/E Data . Only incoming and outgoing pins must be specified. All the network component related sheets have to be removed in the Excel input file.

PSS/E Files

• PSS/E version 32 RAW format (*.raw) are compatible with ePHASORSIM.

  • If you are using a more recent version, make sure to save the RAW file with the PSS®E - 32 option

  • This can be done through the following menu in PSS/E: File>Save Case As…>Power Flow Raw Data, Previous Versions>RAW file version

• Save the RAW file in the the previously created folder.

• The PSS/E DYR file (*.dyr) should be saved in the same folder.

• Select PSS/E Ver. 32 as the Input file format.

• Use Select button or insert the name of the:

  • Excel file containing the pins in the I/O pins file field.

  • RAW file in the PSS/E RAW file field.

  • DYR file in the PSS/E DYR file field.
