Software Requirements

Microsoft Windows Compatibility

Windows 10 is only officially supported starting with RT-LAB 11.2.0 and ARTEMiS 7.2.0.

(1) Partial support: Matlab R2019b is not supported by RT-LAB on Windows 7

MATLAB Compatibility

Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of MATLAB are supported when stated in the table below, except for R2016A and later. These MATLAB versions are only available in 64-bit.

(1) The support of these Matlab/Simulink versions has been dropped starting with ARTEMiS v7.7.3.

(2) Beta support only, may be use in RT-LAB advanced mode.

Linux OS Compatibility

Red Hat Linux 5.2 OS and OPAL-RTLinux 3 may be used as a target node. Models can be executed in real-time or as pure (unsynchronized) simulations.

Red Hat Linux 5.2 OS and OPAL-RTLinux 3 may be used for real-time simulations, however, note that RT-LAB software does not yet support Red Hat Linux OS as a host computer.

Starting from ARTEMiS 7.9 the Red Hat Linux is no longer supported.

RT-LAB Compatibility

RT-LAB is used to run ARTEMiS in real-time. Use the following table to get the compatible version of ARTEMiS and RT-Events.
