YAML Mapping Files
The YAML mapping files are used during an import of an external model format (PSS/e, CYME, PowerFactory, …) to map components and their parameters to the data model of the Unified Database and subsequentially to the ePHASORSIM solver. OPAL-RT is providing the required mapping file for most of the standard components.
When importing an Functional Mock-up Unit (FMU) as a custom block into ePHASORSIM, such mapping files must be provided to map parameters from the external model to the Modelica parameters in the FMU.
To do so, a YAML mapping file needs to be provided by the user.
This file must be placed in a sub-directory named
mappings
next to the Simulink model. The name of the file itself is irrelevant.
The file extension must be
.yaml
.The file must follow the YAML syntax rules.
The file must follow the structure of the provided examples.
A more detailed description of the file format is provided here: File Format
The mapping file must map FMU component to the
Subsystem
blockThe parameter
fmuModelIdentifier
must be set to the name of the FMU.The port must be named
bus0
,bus1
, …,busN
The rest of the structure must be the same. Refer to I/O Pins for PSS/E Data for naming conventions.
