General Overview
The OP5020XG is a powerful simulation target 2U computer, installed on a tabletop or mounted directly in a standard 19 inches rack. It can be connected to OPAL-RT’s FPGA Processor and I/O Expansion Units via a PCIe host adapter to have a complete HIL system. It is especially suited for the OP4810-IO or the OP4815-IO FPGA Processor and I/O Expansion Units.
The OP5020XG is the PC part of your simulation system. It contains a motherboard with a CPU, RAM and mass storage SSD, and OPAL-RTLinux. RT-LAB for target is executing in the section.
Unit Information
Simulator specifications are described in the OP5020XG user manual.
Network port eno1 default IP address is written on a label on the front of the simulator in the left bottom corner (see the illustrations below).
This port usually connects to your organization’s Local Area Network (LAN) through a router or a network switch.The network port eno2 is used to connect via Ethernet the OP5020XG simulator to the OP4810-IO FPGA Processor and I/O Expansion Unit for bitstream flashing.
