Showing and Hiding the Grid
Many users prefer that the grid lines be visible in order to center and align components.
Where possible, it's best practice to maintain centered, aligned components.
Note that the grid is made up of larger squares (8 by 8) that each holds 64 smaller squares.
When moving a block, you will notice a subtle 'snap to grid' effect that will be familiar if you've used graphing software like Microsoft Visio. This is true whether the grid is visible or not.
To set the grid lines to be visible (or hidden):
- Click View > Show/Hide Grid.
OR
- Right-click the work area to open the context menu, and click Show Grid Lines.
OR
- Hover over the zoom area and click the rightmost button, Grid Lines.
