Understanding the Panel
The startup panel is illustrated in Figure 6. It allows you to choose between three tabs: “Part 1,” “Part 2,” and “Part 3.” Each tab simulates a specific component of the UPS circuit as follows:
Part 1: Simulates the DC/AC Inverter when the input is reduced to an ideal DC source and the inverter is connected to the load.
Part 2: Simulates the AC/DC Rectifier.
Part 3: Simulates the DC/AC Inverter when the grid is off, using the battery as the input source and connecting the inverter to the load.
The different parts of the panel will be explained in the sections that follows.
Part 1: DC/AC Inverter with ideal DC source

Help Tab
When clicking on “Help tab”, the panel in figure 10 is displayed.
In this panel you can see an image of the complete simulated circuit as well as the circuit parameters.
