Alias

The Alias feature allows you to simplify some data point’s path by replacing them with a custom label.

Generate Aliases from tables

The “Alias” menu in the right-click “Context menu” is available in the Model tables, Board tables, IO Interfaces, Connections table and Datapoint Picker. It allows you to generate and remove aliases in batch for all selected rows of the table. Also, an alias can be edited with an alphanumeric label from the context buttons in the “Alias” column for each row.

All the generated and edited aliases are available in the Aliases view. Changing the alias values in this page will change the alias in all tables where the data point appear.

Use aliases in Graph Widget

The aliases can be used in the Graph Widget legend. These changes can be performed during a simulation.
