FPGA-Based Simulation

HYPERSIM can not only run very large grids on standard PCs using Intel CPUs, it can also run circuits on an FPGA when the accuracy requirement is higher and a lower time step (>100 ns) needs to be achieved, such as for high frequency switching power electronic.  The CPU and FPGA models can then either be run separately or interfaced to achieve more complex simulations. In this hybrid simulation, various time steps can be used for the CPUs and each FPGA.
