Install TI add-ons and Set Up Hardware in MATLAB
- Open MATLAB.
- Before you begin, make sure you have Embedded Coder and Simulink Coder toolboxes installed in MATLAB.
This will be used to generate the code for the TI controller. - To check, type ver in command window.
- You will need to use a free MATLAB account.
- If you don't have one, create a free MATLAB account at mathworks.com.
- In MATLAB, log in to your account in the top right corner of MATLAB.
- In the MATLAB menu, click on Add-ons > Get Add-ons.
- Search for Texas Instruments C2000 Package and install it.
- Configure C2000 Add-ons package by going to Add-ons > Manage Add-ons.
- Click on the cog next to C2000 package.
- Double-click on Select All to deselect all.
- Select TI Delfino F2837xD.
- Click Next.
- Make sure that TI Code Composer Studio, TI ControlSUITE, and TI C2000Ware installed previously are showing in the list of third-party software installed.
- Click Next.
- Keep the default installation folder or choose another folder and click Next.
- Keep the default installation folder or choose another folder and click Validate, then click Next.
- Click Next.
- Verify that all is correct and click Next.
- Click Finish.
