Install TI add-ons and Set Up Hardware in MATLAB

  • Open MATLAB.
  • Before you begin, make sure you have Embedded Coder and Simulink Coder toolboxes installed in MATLAB.
    This will be used to generate the code for the TI controller. 
  • To check, type ver in command window.

  • You will need to use a free MATLAB account.
    • If you don't have one, create a free MATLAB account at mathworks.com.
  • In MATLAB, log in to your account in the top right corner of MATLAB.

  • In the MATLAB menu, click on Add-ons > Get Add-ons.

  • Search for Texas Instruments C2000 Package and install it.

  • Configure C2000 Add-ons package by going to Add-ons > Manage Add-ons.

  • Click on the cog next to C2000 package.

  • Double-click on Select All to deselect all.
  • Select TI Delfino F2837xD.
  • Click Next.

  • Keep the default installation folder or choose another folder and click Next.

  • Keep the default installation folder or choose another folder and click Validate, then click Next.

  • Click Next.

  • Verify that all is correct and click Next.

  • Click Finish.
