Single Phase capacitive de-coupling

EHS SOLVER HSCS SOLVER

This block decouples the circuit into two sub-circuits, providing a interface between them equivalent to a shunt capacitor.

De-coupling capacitance value (F)

Equivalent shunt capacitor value

Initial Voltage (V0)

Specifies the initial voltage across the capacitor at the beginning of the simulation. This value defines the capacitor’s stored energy at t=0 and is used as the initial condition for the component’s equivalent circuit.

Positive voltage is defined according to the capacitor voltage reference direction used in the model. A value of 0 means the capacitor starts fully discharged.
