Power Port

This block implements an electrical power port.

An electrical power port is an element of the circuit electrically joining two nodes of the circuit, one inside and the other outside of a subsystem. For each electrical power source added inside a subsystem, a corresponding electrical port is added on the subsystem block. Both ports share the same voltage.

Parameters

Port size

Used to define the number of phases of the port.

Electrical Ports

  • Electrical ports are used to connect elements inside the subsystem to other elements of the parent sub-circuit. All elements connected to this port share the same voltage as the elements connected to the corresponding subsystem port. A power port is automatically created within a subsystem when a link from a block is connected to this subsystem.
