ARTEMiS 7.6

Complete List of Changes in ARTEMiS 7.6.4

  • Compatibility with RT-LAB 2021.1

New Features

  • Support of MATLAB versions R2020a and R2020b in advanced mode.
  • New Compensated Stubline model, to decouple network equations at very short transmission line.
    • Comes with 2 demos: IEEE 13 nodes and IEEE 123 nodes
    • Scientific paper added on this feature.
  • New JMAG-RT Spatial Harmonic PMSM model using SSN
    • The SSN implementation of this JMAG model requires no snubbers for stability.
  • New demo with 3-level Flying-Capacitor Inverter, using TSB-RD.

Enhancements & Bug Fixes

  • The TLC file of the 2-level TSB-RD of ARTEMiS was corrected.
    • The problem occurred only in RT-LAB compiled mode.

Complete List of Changes in ARTEMiS 7.6.3

  • Compatibility with RT-LAB 2020.4

Complete List of Changes in ARTEMiS 7.6.2

  • Compatibility with RT-LAB 2020.3
  • Support of MATLAB versions 2015b and above up to 2019b
  • Support of MinGW for Windows Target model compilation

New Features

  • New demo of 4 terminal HVDC grid using MMCs and SSN
  • New ARTEMiS Real-Time demo using IEC 61850 standard: Artemis_IEC61850
  • New Protection Relays library:
    • 21 - MHO Distance Relay
    • 25 - Synchronism-check Relay
    • 27/59 - Voltage Relay
    • 40Q - Loss-of-Excitation Relay
    • 5051 - Overcurrent Relay
    • 505167 - Directional Overcurrent Relay
    • 81 - Frequency Relay
    • 87T - Transformer Differential Relay
  • New VBR Machines library:
    • SM-VBR-RR - Round Rotor Machine
    • SM-VBR-SP - Salient Pole Machine
  • New library of events based blocks, similar to RT-Events (Beta)

Enhancements & Bug Fixes

  • Correction to initial conditions setting in SSN using the SSN_USE_SPS_INITIAL_CONDITIONS_FILE flag: users can now set their initial conditions correctly in SSN
  • Correction to remove unwanted console print while opening ARTEMiS

Known issues

  • SSN Full iterative Feature is not available on real-time targets (but still available in offline mode). Note that this issue does not affect iSWITCH and iMOV methods, which still work on real-time targets

Complete List of Changes in ARTEMiS 7.6.1

  • Compatibility with RT-LAB 2020.2
  • Support of MATLAB versions 2015b and above up to 2019b
  • Support of MinGW for Windows Target model compilation

New Features

  • Added support of OPAL-RTLinux 3.

Enhancements & Bug Fixes

  • Added Warning and Error message when SPS generate unconnected state-space model preventing a successful compilation of the model.
  • Fix Matlab crash when ARTEMiS model is too big.

Complete List of Changes in ARTEMiS 7.6.0

  • Compatibility with RT-LAB 2020.1
  • Support of MATLAB versions 2015b and above up to 2019b
  • Support of MinGW for Windows Target model compilation

New Features

  • SSN Dual-Stator Synchronous machine model with electric ship demo (sometimes called 6-phase synchronous machine)

  • SSN Dual-Stator Permanent Magnet Synchronous machine model with electric ship demo (sometimes called 6-phase PMSM)

  • SSN Synchronous machine model with Per-Unit mask.

  • SSN Induction machine model with Embedded Breakers.

  • ARTEMiS Event Timer block. Useful to program on/off sequence of switches

Enhancements & Bug Fixes

  • Improvement to the SSN synchronous machine models:

    • With Delayed Speed Term (DST) option ON, models are now more stable.

    • With this improvement, the IEEE 39 bus 10-machine demo is now stable with DST enabled.

    • High-speed models such as aircraft with 800 Hz stator frequency are now stable with DST ON.

    • DTS option allows the use of LDLt factorization for faster simulations.

  • Improvement of OpElectricFaultSelector block icon display.
  • Warning is correctly displayed to enforce a non-null thyristor offset voltage when using the ITVC switching compensation algorithm of ARTEMiS.
