AC-to-DC Rectifier LAB 2 - Panel
When starting the demo, the panel in figure 15 appears first with the default settings.
Figure 15: Start-Up Panel of the Three-Phase Diode Bridge Rectifier Laboratory
For operation of the three-phase diode bridge rectifier panel, the student can refer to the panel operation of the single-phase diode bridge rectifier, because the panels of both models are very similar.
The differences in the content of scopes are presented in table 9 below.
Scope | Content of Scopes & Displayed Waveforms |
---|---|
Scope11 | Load and AC Source voltages |
Scope21 | Diode D1 Voltage |
Scope12 | Load and AC Source currents |
Scope22 | Diode D1 Current |

Note
The “Save File” under Scope Parameters allows the student to give different file names for data acquisition.
It is possible to save up to eleven .mat files with the name “FileSavedcurrents_X (where X can be anywhere from 0 to 10).
The student can give X values via the “Save File”, and press “Data Acq.” for acquiring data.
The data acquired can be used for offline harmonic studies.
The saved data are in the following folder:
