OPAL-RT currently supports two different boards for hardware synchronization:

  • Oregano syn1588® is the most recent card supporting more features and which I/O interface is configurable using the I/O Interface Configuration GUI

  • Spectracom is a legacy card that can only be configured directly on the simulator using files and is therefore not available in the I/O Interface Configuration GUI
