Pulse Driven Load features description
Introduction
The Pulse Driven Load (PDL) module is designed to measure the frequency, duty cycle and analog state of pulses generated by an external source or the ECU.
The module provides 3 types of inputs channels; standard (32), bipolar (2) and flexible (5), which differ by the way the input lines are tied to the rail and the bias resistor values.
Up to 10 PDL cards can be inserted in one OP6200 chassis, although the reference model typically uses a maximum of 2 cards.
The board also supports the following features, which are common to all OP6200 I/O boards :
- Over-temperature detection
- Battery voltage compatibility
- Module information
- Activity and status LEDs
- Firmware Update
- Synchronization
- Cable Identification
