National Instruments Software
The table below lists the National Instruments software dependencies for the OPAL-RT Power Electronics Add-On for NI VeriStand. These dependencies are installed automatically as part of the Power Electronics Add-On Installation. It is not necessary to install them separately. In order to know which NI Linux RT Image is compatible with your NI VeriStand version, please refer to VeriStand and NI Linux Real-Time Base System Image Compatibility.

Circuit Editor
The OPAL-RT Power Electronics Add-On for NI VeriStand supports the FPGA-based simulation of circuit models designed using the standard modeling environments listed below. See Supported Circuit Editors for more information.
A full, licensed version of MATLAB is required when adding or changing a Circuit Model in the Power Electronics Add-On. All other actions use the MATLAB Runtime, which doesn’t require a license.
