OpNI6602 Digital Out
Block
Mask
Description
The NI6602 Digital Out block monitors the digital I/O lines of the National Instruments NI6602card.
The block can monitor a subset of the 32 available digital I/O lines. Note that lines 0 to 7 are reserved for digital I/Os, while lines8 to 31 are shared with 6 of the timers of the card. Please refer to the connector pin assignments below to avoid conflicts.
Parameters
Bus Type | Select the bus type (PCI or PXI) of the target node in this list. |
---|---|
PCI index | Enter the PCI index (see definition)of the card on the PCI (or PXI) bus. |
Selection of channels used in output | Enter the vector of channel numbers to be monitored by this block. The channel numbers, in the range [0-31], can be entered in any order and must appear only once in the list. |
Synhronize | see definition. |
Inputs
At each calculation step of the model, the block outputs to the I/O lines the values calculated in the model. Three sets of input values must be specified:
reset | Values that will be written to the selected I/O channels when the reset button is hit. |
---|---|
pause | Values that will be written to the selected I/O channels when the model is in pause mode, that is at initialization or when the pause button is hit. |
run | Values that will be written to the selected I/O channels at each time step. |
Note: To ensure that the pause and reset values be properly written out, it is recommended to set these values in the model subsystem that contain the Op Ni6602 Digital Out block, and not to provide them from the console subsystem.
Outputs
This block has no outputs.
