OpNI60xE Digital Out
Block
Mask
Description
The National InstrumentsESeries (or NI-60xE) cards feature analog inputs, analog outputs, digital I/O lines and counters. This block monitors a user-defined subset of the 8 digital I/O lines and configures these channels in output mode.
This block supports a list of PXI and PCI compatible cards selectable from popup menus.
Note: The cards PCI-6025Eand PXI-6025E hold 3 additional I/O ports of 8 lines each. These additional ports use the chipset 8255 and are not bi-directional: the 8 lines of these ports must all be used either in input or in output mode.
Parameters
Bus Type | Select the bus type (PCI or PXI) of the target node in this list. |
---|---|
Card Type | Select the card model on this list. |
PCI index | Enter the PCI index (see definition)of the card on the PCI (or PXI) bus. |
Port | This pop-up menu appears only if one the PCI-6025E or PXI-6025E cards is selected. It allows the user to access the additional I/O ports B, C or D. PortA refers to the 8 standard NI60xE I/O lines. A different Op NI60xEDigital Out block must be used for each I/O port. |
Selection of channels used in the output | Enter the vector of channel numbers to be controlled by this block. The channel numbers, in the range [0-7], can be entered in any order and must appear only once in the list. |
Synchro | see definition. |
Inputs
At each calculation step of the model, the block outputs to the I/O lines the values calculated in the model.
Three sets of input values must be specified:
Reset | Values that will be written to the selected I/O channels when the reset button is hit. |
---|---|
Pause | Values that will be written to the selected I/O channels when the model is in pause mode, that is at initialization or when the pause button is hit. |
Run | Values that will be written to the selected I/O channels at each time step. |
Note: For the pause and reset values to be properly written out, it is recommended to set these values in the model subsystem that contain the Op NI60xE Digital Out block, and not to provide them from the console subsystem.
Outputs
This block has no outputs.
