Note: The following example was carried out without any voltage or current signal generation. BERTA sends an 8V signal to all DA channels. These signals return through the loopback board and enter the AD channels. The signal is multiplied by 20 to compensate for the probe gain decrease in order to obtain a 160V signal.
Enter 8 in the Amplitude (V) field
Enter 60 in the Frequency (Hz) field
Send the signal using GO signal
Click GO Acquis to launch the acquisition.
This example confirms that all the system components are operating. The signals sent to the DAs are then passed through the loopback board at the back of the workstation and return through the AD channels and are displayed on the graphics panel.
