General System Description

The Power Electronic Laboratory (PELab) system is a controllable power electronic system developed by Taraz Technologies for PHIL applications. PELab can be connected to multiple controllers and real-time simulators for rapid control prototyping and hardware in the loop studies. The modular structure of PELab allows easy power electronic integration, maintenance, and configuration changes for modular structures. Its isolated measurements can be directly connected to any oscilloscope or control unit without using any additional probe for debugging, control, and demonstration purposes. PELab is also well protected against short circuit, overcurrent, over voltage and over temperature faults, which makes it perfect for research. In addition, it has an internal embedded controller (ARM Cortex M7 and M4) to implement custom firmware developed by users.
