Depending on the mode of operation (RCP, HIL, and internal embedded controller), different software are required to operate a PELab unit. Accordingly, table 7 provides the list of software required and recommended for each mode of operation.

  • RT-Lab (Latest version)

  • MATLAB (Version 2021b and above)

  • eHS (Gen3 and above) only for real-time simulations

Rapid Control Prototyping (OP8666)

  • MATLAB (Version 2019b and above)

  • Embedded Coder (Version 7.3 and above)

  • Code Composer Studio (Version 9.3 and above)

Internal Embedded Controller

  • The following firmware development platforms are recommended:

  1. STM32CubeIDE

  2. STM32CubeMX

  3. Keil MDK-ARM

  4. IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM
