ABB PS935 | Connections
Once configured, the ABB PS935 I/O interface offers different data points to be read from or written to the model.
The data points that can be connected to the model to exchange data with the device are described below, depending on the configuration method used.
Connections when the driver was configured using the graphical user interface
Connection Point | Direction | Description |
---|---|---|
Bit In | From model to driver | Provide the binary data to be sent to the ABB PS935 device. |
Bit Out | From driver to model | Provide the binary data to be received from the ABB PS935 device. |
Float In | From model to driver | Provide the floating point data to be sent to the ABB PS935 device. |
Float Out | From driver to model | Provide the floating point data to be received from the ABB PS935 device. |
Please note that these connection points can be arrays. Their size is controlled in the driver configuration view, by setting the relevant field's value. As an example, the size of the 'Bit In' array connection point depends on the 'Count digital in' field.
Connections when the driver was configured using the .io file workflow
For the .io file workflow, the connections are embedded in the .io file itself. Therefore, this has been described in detail in the .io description file explanation.
