Vcap Observer and MMC PULSE Block Test

This test is designed to determine whether the Vcap display block and the assignments of Gate signals can work correctly or not. To achieve the test purpose, we can observe the values variation of Vcaps in the <Vcaps> Display block after fixing the Vcaps to a value (for example: 1 pu). In the test, 20 Vcap/valve will be displayed each time.

  1. System initialization.
  2. To test the 1st group of cells per arm, just change the number of per arm to 20, as shown in Figure 15.

3.  Go to the monitoring block, check the Vcap display block

4. In MMC Parameters block, in scope tab, change the parameter SM selection offset to 1, the Vcap display will be shown as below, it can be known that the 2nd Vcap is the 1st being displayed.

5. Enable the pulse by checking the parameter enable pulse in operation tab and give the ON signals to all gate switches of 1st group one by one in the MMC pulse block as shown in Figure 18. Pay attention to the Vmmc Display block, Vcap Display block in the console.

If Vmmc changes by 1 each time enable the pulse from CPU, it means the MMC Pulse block works well.
