OpCanAc2 CanDB Send
Block
Mask
Description
This block acts like an OpCanAc2 Send block with additional scheduling capabilities. These extra capabilities allow the user to select the actual rate of transmission of the data in a set of predefined scheduling policies:
Event scheduling | This scheduling policy is based on an asynchronous event pulse that triggers one data sending operation either at the rising edge, falling edge or both |
---|---|
Cyclic scheduling | This scheduling policy is based on a cyclic time rate that triggers one data sending operation for each period |
Active cyclic scheduling | This scheduling policy is based on the Cyclic scheduling policy with an extra input that acts to enable the global send operations |
Event cyclic scheduling | This scheduling policy based on the Cyclic scheduling policy with the capability to resynchronize its transmission rate for every event (either rising edge, falling edge or both) |
Parameters
Node Name | The name of the node to which to message is attached. If the message is attached to no node, the name displayed is (Void). |
---|---|
MSG Name | The name of the message. |
Controller Id | See OpCanAc2 Send help. |
Event | Select the Event Scheduling policy. |
Cyclic | Select the Cyclic Scheduling policy. |
Active Cyclic | Select the Active Cyclic Scheduling policy. |
EV Cyclic | Select the Event Cyclic Scheduling policy. |
Cyclic Time: | The transmission rate in milliseconds that is used as a parameter for some scheduling policies. NOTE: This rate must be an exact multiple of the subsystem execution rate where the OpCanAc2 Send block is located. Subsystem's execution rate is taken from the present OpComm block. |
Event Type | The event active edge (e.g. falling edge) that is used as a parameter for some scheduling policies. |
Inputs
The inputs are automatically generated with scaling capabilities. Each input is a signal of the message associated with the block.
Outputs
See OpCanAc2 Send help.
