Controls and Indicators
Emergency Stop Button
The emergency stop button allows you to quickly secure the test bench in urgent situations. It is hard wired to an emergency stop loop that energizes the contactors inside the OP1460/1480 boxes and inside the PDU. When the user pushes on the emergency stop button, all these contactors become unsupplied and this effectively isolates the test bench's power path (excluding monophasic power bars) from all possible sources of electrical energy. The button will remain depressed once it has been pushed down, the user must then rotate the button clockwise to reset the emergency stop loop. The emergency stop button can be secured with a padlock if desired.
Start/Stop Button
These buttons allow you to control the 3 phase 400V/480V supply to the DC power supplies of the test bench. An indicator light located between the Start and Stop buttons lights up when activated.
Status LEDs
The status LEDs provide the following visual information:
+12V PS_AUX1 | This LED is lit when the 13.5V auxiliary supply #1 is functioning properly |
|---|---|
+12V PS_AUX2 | This LED is lit when the 13.5V auxiliary supply #2 is functioning properly |
+12V PS_AUX3 | This LED is lit when the 13.5V auxiliary supply #3 is functioning properly |
+24V E-STOP | This LED is lit when the Emergency Stop loop is energized (meaning that the test bench is allowed to operate). When the emergency stop button is pressed down, the LED will turn OFF, indicating that the test bench is secured and isolated. |
Fuses
User-replaceable fuses to protect against overloading of the auxiliary supplies. Replace only with fuses that have the proper rating (as indicated on the equipment).
