This paper deals with two of the most commonly used signaling types: TTL and CMOS. It briefly presents their properties.
It also provides some recommendations when interconnecting OPAL-RT 32 Digital Inputs/Outputs TTL/CMOS boards with third-party devices or User ECUs.
These recommendations aim to ensure good signal integrity over transmission lines. They include a matching scheme to absorb any reflections that may be generated by the source (the driver) or the load (the receiver).
