The OpSignalCompression block allows a user to compress signals.

OpSignalCompression mask.

Description

The OpSignalCompression block compresses its input signal. The inputs can be real or complex signal or vector of any type. The output is a double vector that contains the compressed inputs.

The OpSignalCompression block and OpSignalUncompression block allow you to minimize the number of signals transferred between two systems.

Parameters

Tag	Id to be used by the corresponding OpSignalUncompression block.
Number of inputs	number of inputs.
Number of outputs	number of outputs required to compress the input signals.

Inputs

Signal(s) to compress.

Outputs

Compressed signal. This signal could not be read by any Simulink block. It has to be connected to the OpSignalUncompression block with same tag.
