I/O Interfaces
I/O interfaces are used in HYPERSIM to manage the ‘bridge’ between the software and external hardware through the real-time simulator.
An analogous example would be when you are setting up your office printer for use from your computer. The printer (analogous to the real-time simulator) already has its driver installed, but you still have to establish the connection from your computer through to the driver.
Note that for further information on the configuration of any given I/O interface, users can select the desired interface, then click the question mark in the upper-right section of the configuration window.
Note that the I/O interfaces do not support accents (e.g. é, è, à, etc). This applies to the I/O interface names and the component names in the network.
