Description

This IEC60044-8 packing block receives the data from the VBC/PCP HDLC Serial Communication Interface block and generates the signals needed by the DataOut block.

Note: The VBC/PCP HDLC Serial Communication Interface block implements the IEC60044-8 protocol between a valve balancing controller (VBC) and a pole controller based on HDLC serial protocol.

Inputs

Valid

This port should receive a signal to indicate that data present in the Data input is valid.

Data

This is a 128 bits wide data-block in the received HDLC frame:

where X represents one of the 16 Blocks of the HDLC frame (see VBC/PCP HDLC Serial Communication Interface for HDLC Frame description).

Outputs

DataOut	This port contains a valid bit and a serialized data of the 128 bits wide data-block in the received HDLC frame. It is to be connected to the DataOuti input port of the DataOut block corresponding to the channel selected for the DataOut signal.
DataSync	This port represents a pulse indicating the update of the DataOut port. It is to be connected to the DataSynci input port of the DataOut block corresponding to the channel selected for the DataOut signal.
