Description
This block recovers the data from a dedicated application block (e.g. Quadrature Encoder) and generates the signals needed by the DataOut block.
Parameters
This block has no parameters.
Inputs
Angle[X] where X=[1,2] | This signal is the angle modulating the quadrature-encoded rotating device. The angle is a turn ratio, in the range [0,1[ and in the UFix16_16 format. |
---|---|
Timestamp[X] where X=[1,2] | This signal is the timestamp matching the angle. It is expressed as an integer number of clock ticks in the format UFix22_0. |
DataReady[X] where X=[1,2] | This signal is an enable to account the other inputs. |
EventCount[X] where X=[1,2] | This signal represents the number of increments or decrements of the angle since the last synchronization pulse (ModelSync), in the signed integer format Fix21_0. |
Outputs
DataOut | This signal contains the data of an analog subsection and a valid bit. It is meant to interface the DataOut block. |
---|---|
DataSync | This signal represents a pulse to indicate the update of the DataOut port. It is to be connected to the DataSynci input port of the DataOut block corresponding to the channel selected for the DataOut signal. |
Characteristics and Limitations
This Block has no specific characteristics or limitations.
